🕯️ Hand-Poured in Small Batches

Every LIT candle is individually hand-poured in our Delhi NCR studio using 100% natural soy wax and lead-free cotton wicks. No factories, no machines — just us, pouring each candle with care.

✨ Natural Imperfections are Normal

As with all handmade products, slight variations in colour, texture and surface finish may be present from candle to candle. We embrace these as the unique character of each piece — no two are exactly the same, and that’s what makes them special.

🏠 Décor & Gifting First

Our sculptural and artistic candles are designed for home décor, tablescapes and special occasions. They look stunning unlit. If you choose to burn them, please follow our candle care guidelines below to ensure a safe and beautiful experience.

🌿 Sustainable by Choice

We use soy wax because it burns cleaner, longer and is a renewable resource. Our wicks are 100% lead-free cotton. We keep our packaging minimal and plastic-free wherever possible.

Delivery Timelines

  • Delhi NCR: 1–3 business days
  • Rest of India: 4–7 business days
  • Remote areas: 7–10 business days
📦 All orders are hand-packed by us personally before dispatch.

Shipping Charges

  • Flat ₹90 delivery charge on all orders
  • ₹100 delivery charge on orders above ₹1,200
  • Same-day Delhi NCR delivery via Porter/Uber available on request (extra charge applies)

Order Processing

Orders are processed and dispatched within 3–4 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive a WhatsApp message with your tracking details once shipped.

Tracking Your Order

Return & Refund Policy

No Returns or Exchanges

As every candle is hand-poured to order in small batches, we do not accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances, including change of mind, colour preference or fragrance. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

🎥 Damaged in Transit — Unboxing Video Required

We take great care in packing every order. However, if your order arrives damaged due to transit, we will replace it — but only if you have a complete unboxing video as proof.

How to make a valid unboxing video:

  • Start recording before you open or touch the package
  • Show the sealed parcel clearly from all sides
  • Record continuously without any cuts or pauses while opening
  • Show the damaged item clearly inside the packaging
  • The full video must be uninterrupted from sealed parcel to damaged product
⚠️ Without a complete, uncut unboxing video, we will not be able to process a damage claim. No exceptions.

Once you have the video, WhatsApp it to us at +91 92172 44838 within 24 hours of delivery. Claims reported after 24 hours will not be accepted.

Cancellations

Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. Every order goes into production immediately. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

We collect only what is necessary to process your order — your name, phone number, email (optional) and delivery address.

Payment Security

All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store any card, UPI or banking details. Your financial information is protected by Razorpay’s PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.

Data Storage

Order information is stored securely in our Google Workspace account and used solely for order fulfillment and customer support.

How to care for your candle

🏷️ Before You Light

Remove the ribbon, bow, tag or any decorative elements from your candle before lighting. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface before burning.

✂️ Trim the Wick Before Every Use

Trim your wick to ¼ inch (6mm) before each burn. A long wick causes black smoke, mushrooming and uneven burning. Use scissors or a wick trimmer.

⏱️ Maximum 2 Hours Per Burn

Do not burn your candle for more than 2 hours at a time. This prevents overheating, extends the candle’s life and maintains a better fragrance throw. Let it cool fully before relighting.

👀 Never Leave Unattended

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish your candle before leaving the room or going to sleep. Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.

🚫 Extinguish Safely

Always extinguish your candle before leaving the room. Use a candle snuffer or gently blow it out — never use water. Stop burning when ½ inch (1.5cm) of wax remains.

🌡️ Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Sunlight fades colour and affects fragrance. Keep covered when not in use to preserve the scent.

✨ About Imperfections

Slight variations in colour, texture or surface are completely normal in hand-poured soy candles. White frosting, small bubbles or an uneven top surface are natural characteristics — not defects. They do not affect burn quality or fragrance in any way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — all our candles are made from 100% natural soy wax with lead-free cotton wicks. We never use paraffin, additives or synthetic fillers. Soy wax burns cleaner, longer and is better for indoor air quality.
Burn time varies by candle size. Standard jar candles burn for 20–30 hours, taper candles for 6–8 hours each, and smaller sculptural candles (like the Tulip Bouquet) for 4–6 hours. Burn times are mentioned on each product page.
Yes! We love custom orders. We can do custom colour combinations, fragrance blends and personalised labels for birthdays, weddings, corporate gifts and events. WhatsApp us at +91 92172 44838 with your requirements.
Currently we ship across India only. International shipping is something we’re working on — follow us on Instagram @litpremiumcandles to be the first to know when we launch international delivery.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason, including change of mind. The only exception is damage in transit — in which case you must have a complete, uncut unboxing video starting from the sealed parcel. WhatsApp the video to us within 24 hours of delivery. Without an unboxing video, we cannot process any damage claim.

Absolutely. Our soy wax candles burn cleanly without releasing harmful toxins or black soot. We use lead-free cotton wicks and premium fragrance oils that are non-toxic. Always burn in a well-ventilated room and follow the candle care guidelines.

This is called “frosting” — a completely natural characteristic of 100% soy wax. It does not affect the burn quality, scent throw or safety of your candle in any way. It’s actually a sign of authenticity!
Yes — completely normal for hand-poured soy candles. Natural soy wax cools differently each time, which can result in a textured or uneven surface. This has no impact on burn quality and is part of the handmade character of your candle.
We accept all major payment methods via Razorpay — credit cards, debit cards, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), net banking and wallets. All payments are fully secure and encrypted.
